Iowa Donor Network collaborates with hospitals, healthcare agencies, community partners, and donation advocates. During the month of April, we're partnering with them to promote National Donate Life Month, a time dedicated to honoring the selfless act of organ, skin, and eye donation. This month-long celebration serves as a reminder of the incredible impact donors have on the lives of others and the importance of registering as an organ donor.

Here's what we have planned for National Donate Life Month:

April 3rd: Living Donor Appreciation Day
Join us on April 3rd as we celebrate the remarkable individuals who have given the gift of life through living donation. Share inspiring stories and help us spread the word about the importance of living donation.

April 8-13th: Blue & Green Spirit Week
From April 8th to 13th, we're hosting Blue & Green Spirit Week. We encourage anyone affected by organ, skin, or eye donation to come and donate in honor of their loved ones. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of those waiting for a transplant.

Friday, April 12th: National Blue & Green Day
On April 12th, wear your blue and green attire proudly to show your support for organ, skin, and eye donation. Participate in events, share your photos on social media using #BlueGreenDay, and join us in raising awareness for this important cause.

Thank you for your ongoing support in our mission to save lives through blood donation. Join us in also supporting the Iowa Donor Network as they work to transform lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation. Together, we can make a difference and give hope to those in need.
