This September marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. In the days and weeks that followed, the country came together in extraordinary ways, including donating blood in record numbers.

We know that in times of crisis, our communities step up to help. But every day, thousands of people need lifesaving blood transfusions because of cancer treatments, childbirth complications, surgeries, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies.
