As you prepare to celebrate the holiday with family, friends, and fireworks, take a moment to make a lifesaving difference in your community.
Join LifeServe Blood Center and UnityPoint Health for a special holiday blood drive at the St. Luke’s Center for Women’s and Children’s Health on July 2, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All donors will get the limited-edition LifeServe Trucker Hat!
Summer and holiday travel often lead to fewer blood donations, making it one of the most challenging times of the year to maintain a safe and stable blood supply. Yet the need for blood never takes a holiday. Every day, local patients rely on blood transfusions for surgeries, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies.
By donating blood before your Independence Day celebrations begin, you can help ensure hospitals have the lifesaving blood products they need when patients need them most. In about an hour, your donation can help save multiple lives and make a lasting impact close to home.
