LifeServe Blood Center and MercyOne Air Med are teaming up for a special blood drive to help fuel the flight! MercyOne’s Air Med team provides critical care to patients in emergency situations. But they can’t do it alone. Patients often require donated blood as part of their recovery.
Just one blood donation can impact up to three lives. By taking one hour out of your day to roll up your sleeve and donate, you can help make sure your friends, family, and neighbors have access to the blood products they need.

One unit of O- blood and one unit of O+ blood are stored on MercyOne Air Med helicopters each time it takes off. For the critically injured, blood can make the difference between life and death. Being able to transfuse blood products to the patient in flight is a game-changer.
