American Legion Day of Donation!

Join LifeServe and the American Legion for a week of donations!

The American Legion’s Blood Donation program was established as early as 1942.

A resolution was passed at that the Legion Convention this July to enter into a partnership with LifeServe Blood Center to expand the Legion’s blood donation program in the state of Iowa. LifeServe provides blood products to over 120 hospitals and medical centers in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, including the Des Moines VA.

Make sure to roll up a sleeve to support your local American Legion at a mobile blood drive or donor center on Monday, September 16! Each department gets credit at national convention for how many lifesaving donations they help get!
