Per CDC guidelines, LifeServe is requiring blood donors to wear masks to their appointments beginning May 11. Donors who do not have masks will be provided one at registration. Donors should also take their temperature before reporting to their appointment. A donor with a temperature of 99.5 or higher should reschedule. See a full list of our COVID-19 precautions here.

Battle of the Badges 2020 Results

Thank you to all of our generous blood donors who took time ahead of the holiday weekend to roll up a sleeve and save local lives! The second annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive was a huge success.

During the Battle, 1,032 donors came out and donated 1,126 units of blood, saving the lives of 3,300+ local hospital patients! An extra special thank you goes to the almost 100 first time donors who came out to give blood donation a try while supporting local hospital patients and first responders!

LifeServers who gave blood at a donor center July 1-3 were able to vote for their favorite first responder group: fire, EMS, or law enforcement. The votes were fairly even across the donor centers, but this vote is tallied overall. Law Enforcement is our Battle of the Badges 2020 winner! They add this win to their 2019 victory.

LifeServe wants to thank not only our generous blood donors, but our local first responder heroes who helped promote this blood drive and who save lives year round!

If you donated at the Battle of the Badges and haven’t redeemed your shirt yet, click here! (Please only request a shirt if you gave blood on July 1-3 at a donor center or if you received a shirt voucher. These entries are validated to confirm donors gave blood at the Battle of the Badges.)
