Per CDC guidelines, LifeServe is requiring blood donors to wear masks to their appointments beginning May 11. Donors who do not have masks will be provided one at registration. FDA Urges Donors to Show Up – Video

It’s not just LifeServe in this fight – the entire blood industry is experiencing massive blood drive cancellations due to businesses and schools closing their doors as precaution to help the spread of COVID-19. The FDA is urging healthy blood donors to show up in force to ensure the community blood supply can support local hospital patients in need of blood transfusions.
