No Bad Age To Save Lives!

At LifeServe we’re constantly in awe of our donors; taking time out of busy schedules to roll up a sleeve, sharing our message, and hosting blood drives in their communities. There seemed to be a trend in this week’s stories: there’s no bad age to save lives!

Say hello to Loren from Algona, IA! He became a first time LifeServe blood donor at the age of 93!  Loren is a WWII Navy veteran, loves fishing, and is proud to still live on his own. He came in to our Postville blood drive with his daughter Linda last month. There’s nothing like making life saving a family affair.

A special shout out to Robert and Richard Barnes, West Des Moines twin LifeServers who make their lifesaving donations at Sacred Heart Catholic Church! Together they have donated 6 gallons of blood!
